Kory Raftery is a media relations representative at Pacific Gas and Electric Company.  Based in San Luis Obispo, he also serves the company as a Public Information Officer for Diablo Canyon Power Plant.

Previously, Kory worked in local television as an anchor and reporter specializing in political and environmental issues.  His broadcasting career allowed him to taste life across the United States, with stops at TV stations in Wyoming, Virginia and California.  He also was the play-by-play announcer for the Santa Barbara Foresters, a semi-professional baseball team.

Before going on-the-air, Kory was a staffer in the United States Senate and later served as the communications director for an organic loose leaf tea company.

Kory graduated magna cum laude from UNLV with a degree in mass communications.  When not working, he can often be found dragging his family to remote surf spots and hiking trails.
